Every year, an international Yogic Flying competition is held to see who has developed the greatest proficiency in acting from the Unified Field of All the Laws of Nature, and to demonstrate the technology for total brain functioning and for the creation of ideal quality of life in society.
National competitions are held in different countries, and the winners compete in the international finals.
Yogic Flying Competitions take place in four events: the 25-meter hurdles, the long jump, the high jump, and the 25-meter dash, all in the sitting position.
Gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded to the first, second, and third place winner in each event.

"Maharishi has a famous phrase: Water the root to enjoy the fruit. This means getting nourishment from the most basic level, and automatically the whole tree blossoms. It means enlivening Unity, enlivening the Unified Field. That's where the power is. It's all positive, and if you can enliven it, then all negativity dissapears. Water the root to enjoy the fruit — this is the key to individual supreme Enlightenment and the key to peace on Earth."
